From the start of Term 3, I knew that I had to do Project Work as my curriculum activity for the next half year of 2007. When I knew that we had to grow plants and do up a blog for this Project Work, I felt relieved as I had been in the Environmental Club in my Primary school as a Co-Curriculum Activity. When we go to the Bottle Tree Park as part of our lecture for this project, I did not realised that Singapore can have so many plants planted, despite the fact that Singapore is a tropical country. When it was the time to choose what plant we want to grow, we took a long time to discuss. But in the end, we decided to grow cucumber. When we got the seed, we were instructed to water the plants two times a day. I watered my plant as instructed and in a month time, my plant was growing well. But today when I go and checked it, I found out that my plant was going to die. I was shocked and sad. I had decided to plant a new seed and hopefully, it will grow better than the past, although not as successful than the others.
